Four-Step
Evaluation Process
Each nominated salon undergoes a comprehensive and structured assessment:
Our certified evaluator books an appointment and experiences the salon as a regular guest. No prior notification is given, and no preferential treatment is permitted.
The evaluator scores the salon using our proprietary Five Pillars of Excellence Framework, covering every critical aspect of the client journey.
Every evaluation is supported by detailed technical observations, photographic documentation where appropriate, and comprehensive service notes to ensure transparency and accuracy.
The complete assessment is submitted to The US Beauty Award's Independent Review Board for final verification before any certification or award is granted.

We evaluate every salon based on five core criteria:
Hygiene & Safety
The standard of instrument sterilization, cleanliness of workstations, and the overall salon environment. This is a Zero-Tolerance criterion.
Technical Artistry
Technical precision, product application skills, trend awareness, and the ability to perform advanced or complex services.
Client Experience
Professionalism, personalized consultation, attentive communication, and the overall quality of customer service provided by the team.
Ambience & Sensory Experience
The use of lighting, sound, fragrance, and the overall atmosphere to create a comfortable, relaxing, and premium salon experience.

The ability to consistently maintain high service standards while adopting environmentally responsible products and practices.
